Echoing the Retro Vibe of the Human League and Daft Punk mashed up with the Pet Shop Boys, US3R is at the forefront of the ElectroClash style. His stirring playful edge with an emotional merger of brilliant vocals and Electronic Synth result in a sound that won’t disappoint the ears. It’s Vivacious Eletronica POP!
On His new song..
“Over the last two years, I’ve watched the Weeknd get closer and closer to the Daft Punk style through his collaborations. From “I feel it coming” with Daft Punk, to “Into the fire” with Gesaffelstein, there’s been a resurgence of 80s & 90s style funk and electronica backing his hit songs. Then when Blinding Lights came out, it was a full reference to the 80s style.’
‘Since I love his Daft Punk collabs, I wrote a new style of cover for Blinding Lights that directly ties it to the Daft Punk style – I have vocoders in the chorus, I use 808s for the drums, and I sing it in the US3R style with many layers of vocals. After recording that, I put it up on my Facebook page and it quickly gained over 100k views. I decided to re-record it and polish it for Spotify. Its now available today on all streaming platforms!”
