The heavily anticipated video from the new folk-rock band on the scene, aliensdontringdoorbells, is finally here!
It’s a glorious piece of cinematic finery, with the band shooting their performance section atop a hill swathed in the sunrise. Their performance is interspersed with a narrative story which illustrates the meaning behind the story – intergenerational love being passed from father to son and back.
The song ranges from intimate to anthemic in its dynamics, and takes inspiration from the story-telling tradition of country music as well as hints of folk-rock greats from the past, which have earned them comparisons to both Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty.
The video premiered exclusively on the prestigious Maverick’s website and the song itself already has 22,500 Spotify streams – not bad for a first single!
