A few weeks after the ‘Believe It’ release, a debut solo album by the BBC Introducing Northampton’s one-to-watch singer/songwriter Maddox Jones already got to take his new project onto the road, supporting Janet Devlin and Matt Goss.
This is not the first rodeo for Maddox Jones, as he previously collaborated with artists and toured as part of The Departure. Craving the creative freedom and self-expression, Jones chose a route of a solo artist and embarked on a self-exploration journey that inevitably ended up journaled into his music.
With his debut EP ‘Headspace,’ it was evident Maddox Jones knows his way around words and catchy melodies. Following with other instant hits such as ‘Can’t Wait For The Summer’ and ‘Make Me Yours,’ Jones became more and more confident in delving into more profound subjects.
Entering this year with a focus track, ‘Ready To Be Better,’ Maddox Jones commences a new chapter of healing, believing in good things ahead, and self-improvement. ‘Believe It’ is a 12-track long record that beautifully narrates Jones’ thought process and summarises all the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Listen to ‘Believe It,’ out now.
