Hamilton-born Munroe is the musical project of Kathleen Munroe, whose time is now split between Toronto and Los Angeles, acting – most recently on the acclaimed Amazon series Patriot (Berlinale) and Facebook Watch’s Strangers (Sundance, SXSW) – filmmaking and making music. She is currently writing her second album; a collection of platonic dedications in the form of lullabies for friends.

Don’t Rush To Get Old is the second single from Munroe‘s collaboration with producer Benjamin Schwab, of the bands Drugdealer and Golden Daze. She wrote this song at the end of something that meant a lot. Sitting down to write what she thought would be a song with some edge or some regret or bargaining, all that came out of Munroe was this well-wishing. Just love.
