Drew Knight expands on his musical pallet with new release ‘Stars’, which came out at the end of July. Together with Bradley Denniston, the track explores a synthwave style with a modern sound. The duo will be releasing more songs in the near future. More below.

Drew is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Florida who creates music that combines retro synth tones with a modern feel. He draws inspiration from 80s Synth Pop, synthwave and Modern Pop to create something new, yet nostalgic.

Having only been releasing music since 2021, when he released his debut single Keep Moving, his new track Stars is the next step in Drew’s evolutionary process. Threading the line between synthwave and pop, it is clear he is learning how he wants to develop as an artist. Stars can only be compared to a few other artists out nowadays, such as The Weeknd, The Midnight and Kavinsky.

This track was a collaboration with Bradley Denniston (Lego Movie Soundtrack, Netflix Anime Series Cannon Busters, G-Eazy, Marty Grimes and more), who Drew met through social media while taking production classes. It was worked on remotely throughout the pandemic and is the first of three collaborations between the pairings, releasing through Bradley’s independent record label Radium Records.

Drew says about the song:

“Stars is about obsessing over a dream and realizing that the possibility of it becoming real is overwhelming and all-consuming.”
