Davide Pannozzo has been described by critics as one of the most interesting artist’s of contemporary Blues guitar. His style is very much his own with splashes of Jeff Beck, John Scofield, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix. He’s carved out quite the name for himself with performances with greats like George Benson, Steve Jordan, Will Lee, David Garfield, Clifford Carter, Phil Palmer and Mark Mondesir.
He recently released his newest blues and jazz single “Be Blessed,” with Will Lee on bass, Clifford Carter on keyboards, and Davide Rossi on strings arrangement. It was produced by the Grammy award-winning producer Steve Jordan. “Be Blessed” is a beautiful composition. Each instrument communicates with each other in a way that flows; one doesn’t try to overtake the others. Davide’s guitar playing is masterful and invokes feelings of love and pride.
“It’s a prayer, an intimate conversation with no words: a message that transcends the speaking language and can be understood by anyone through the power of music,” shares Davide.
