Dave Tate’s soulful music combines pure, angelic vocals with dynamic acoustic guitar and poetic imagery to present a unique combination of strength and intimacy. A native of the red rock desert of Zion National Park, Tate’s music is often inspired by the towering beauty of his red rock mountain homeland.

When living in Salt Lake City, Tate met Swedish singer-songwriter Victoria Lagerström, a former Miss Sweden, who came to the US from Stockholm to write and record with Tate. The couple soon fell in love and, three weeks after her arrival, were married among the red rock cliffs of Zion. Lagerström never used her return ticket to Sweden. The couple now often performs as a duo, or with a full band under the name Many Miles.

Tate regularly performs 150+ shows per year and is currently performing in residency at Under Canvas Zion and The Cliffrose Lodge, Hilton Curio Hotel in Zion Canyon. A multi-instrumentalist, Tate records and produces his albums at his own studio in Zion Canyon. Tate’s music is inspired by an avid love for the natural world and he can often be found exploring the vast horizons of the American West.
