Delivering an eclectic blend between reworking some of the best songs ever written in a high octane energy style, Furnace and the Fundamentals are giving the people what they want in the form of their latest cover song ‘Giving In The Name Of’.
Putting a fun and festive spin on the staple Rage Against The Machine song ‘Killing In The Name’, Furnace have reworked the song to become a more Christmassy offering. With sleigh bells a-plenty and lyrics addressing the importance of giving at a time such as Christmas, the Aussies rendition of Rage’s track strikes the pivotal blend between paying homage to the originals rockier sound whilst putting that all-important Furnace stamp on it.
Having sold over one million records, and embarked on a successful UK tour, for Furnace and the Fundamentals their next big leap is releasing their Christmas cracker of an album ‘A Very Furnace Christmas’ this coming December.
